Finally getting to blog this wedding, I have been so busy lately! This was such a happy day with this gorgeous couple, it wasn't the best day weather wise but that didn't matter in the slightest...everywhere I looked people were laughing and having fun and I think all that happiness comes across in the photography, I certainly had a smile on face editing them. I took so many but here are a few of my favourites...enjoy!
Polhawn Fort is a stunning location for a wedding, its set on the coastal outcrop of Cornwall, Rame Head with its own private beach and views to die for, so I was really excited when Emma and Adam asked me to photograph their day. Its such a romantic setting and I can see why they chose it, inside is cosy and candlelit, although technically challenging in terms of photography, it is a beautiful building.
On the morning of the wedding the weather was a bit grey and drizzly but it cleared slightly and Adam and Emma could have the outside ceremony they had hoped for, I was really happy for them both as the setting is gorgeous. It was a beautiful wedding and Emma and Adam had written their own vows to each other which were both humorous and touching, I always shed a little tear when I shoot a wedding so its a good job I have my camera to hide behind!
They day went without a hitch and all their family and friends made me feel so welcome they were a joy to photograph. Here is a selection of images from their day.
Congratulations Emma and Adam !
It was a beautiful day for Jim and Katrina's wedding the sun shone all day for them. It was such a vibrant wedding and so lovely to shoot, I didn't take too many black and white shots because I wanted to capture all the different colours going on. The reception had a relaxed festival feel, the food was delicious and rustic and the whole event was set at Jim's home, Waterloo Farm, North Petherwin. The farm has the most amazing views across the valley and we made the most of this beautiful setting with some stunning portraits. Congratulations Jim and Katrina !
